My name is Mary O’Donovan and I am a Family Celebrant and Registered Solemniser. I specialise in personal wedding, baby-naming and vow renewal ceremonies. I am a member of the Earth Spiritualist Foundation and have had extensive training.

I must be honest with you and admit I’m a hopeless romantic and I absolutely LOVE my job as a Celebrant. It’s just such an honour and a privilege to be in the presence of pure love and joy.

I am committed to creating and delivering a warm, personal ceremony that reflects the couple’s lives and relationship. I can supply samples and offer help with readings and vows if needed. Your ceremony can include choices from many beautiful enhancements, such as unity candle, sand ceremony, Celtic handfasting and ring warming. You have complete freedom of choice when it comes to content and inclusion of spiritual or religious references, etc. – whatever is important to you. I will work with you to craft your own unique love story to share with you and your guests.

I’ve been in the wedding industry for 14 years as a videographer and editor in our family business. This experience has given me a great insight into what couples want and, indeed, don’t want on their day. This insight led me to become a celebrant. I am always so excited to deliver a ceremony that reflects a couple’s love and uniqueness and to help create the perfect atmosphere for a wonderful day which you will remember for the rest of your lives.
